Point to point automations are failing, all the time, we're seeing 3-5 errors every week. This generates a lot of manual effort to manually do the task + double check if anything else is wrong or missing. It also increases the risk of customer complaints and refunds if something is missed. The previous director of tech has created a lot point to point integrations, not thinking about systems but only about single problems as if they were isolated. The goal is to reduce the errors of legacy systems to 0 or nearly 0 (1 errors per month is acceptable) so that we can bridge the time until we have built the new architecture with systems thinking in mind, so that we can replace the legacy automations.
