Enterprise clients needed direct access to their Moodle/Totara data for BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio). Existing solutions exposed production databases externally, creating security audit failures and performance incidents affecting all hosted clients. Designed an ETL pipeline with anonymization at source, VPN transit, and atomic DB swap at destination — eliminating security risks and converting ad-hoc requests into a structured commercial service
